Our residents had a wonderful time taking part in a national walk outdoors . 🌿 The fresh air, gentle exercise, and beautiful surroundings made it a truly enjoyable experience for everyone.

To make the day even more special, they also shared and listened to a lovely little story together—bringing smiles, laughter, and great conversation all around. 💛

Today we baked the cutest Easter cupcakes—tiny chicks, fluffy bunnies, and chocolate nests filled with mini eggs. The kitchen was a mess, but the smiles made it all worth it.

The residents are busily preparing for their Easter party on the 6th of April, gathering together to create colourful and imaginative Easter hats. With tables covered in ribbons, flowers, and bright decorations, laughter fills the room as everyone shares ideas and helps one another. The atmosphere is cheerful and creative, as each hat reflects a unique personality, all building excitement for the special celebration ahead. 🥰❤

Inside the lounge, the residents gathered beneath colorful lights, the air filled with the sweet scent of fresh spring flowers arranged all around the room. The Boogie Bear Disco celebration buzzed with energy as music pulsed through the space, and everyone danced, laughed, and clapped along to the beat. Even indoors, it felt like spring had arrived in full bloom, with the fragrance of blossoms drifting between dancers and the joyful rhythm bringing the whole community together.

Welcome to Woodbury Manor

Woodbury Manor was acquired by Scimitar Care Hotels group in 2010. Formerly known as Clay Hill House, the original building was built in 1853 and was known as Woodbury Manor.

Over time and with various ownerships, Woodbury Manor was converted to a hospital, when it became known as Clay Hill House, and then to a home for the elderly.

Scimitar's purchase of the property in 2010 and subsequent renovation has sought to restore the house back to its Victorian grandeur, and with this a return to its original and historic name - Woodbury Manor.

The Care Hotel is situated two miles from Enfield town centre and has four acres of mature gardens, with numerous fine specimens of Cedar, Fir and Oak trees. Woodbury Manor has fifty nine bedrooms which are situated over two floors, all rooms having en-suite facilities. It is divided into three separate wings, each having its own lounge or communal seating area. Each wing has access to, and views over, the extensive and beautiful grounds that all residents are free to enjoy at their leisure.
