Today, our residence was filled with the gentle glow of fall colors as we gathered to paint autumn leaf designs. One brushstroke at a time, the room transformed—reds, golds, and oranges dancing across the paper like the leaves outside.

The disco lights were flashing, and our residents were ready for fun! As the music started, smiles spread around the lounge. Some danced, some clapped along, and others just enjoyed watching the lively energy fill the space. laughter, music, and happy moments made the afternoon shine.❤🤩💃😀

We started the day with a relaxing morning of yoga, which everyone really enjoyed. Afterwards, we headed out to the local pub for a lovely lunch! The residents tucked into some delicious fish and chips and treated themselves to tasty desserts. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and great company all around!

🍪 Homemade Happiness! 🍪
Our wonderful residents had a sweet time in the kitchen this week, baking a batch of homemade cookies from scratch! The smell of fresh biscuits filled the home, bringing back lots of lovely memories of family baking days. 💛

Everyone enjoyed rolling the dough, sharing stories, and of course — tasting the results! A big thank you to our amazing staff for making the day so special. 👏

Welcome to Woodbury Manor

Woodbury Manor was acquired by Scimitar Care Hotels group in 2010. Formerly known as Clay Hill House, the original building was built in 1853 and was known as Woodbury Manor.

Over time and with various ownerships, Woodbury Manor was converted to a hospital, when it became known as Clay Hill House, and then to a home for the elderly.

Scimitar's purchase of the property in 2010 and subsequent renovation has sought to restore the house back to its Victorian grandeur, and with this a return to its original and historic name - Woodbury Manor.

The Care Hotel is situated two miles from Enfield town centre and has four acres of mature gardens, with numerous fine specimens of Cedar, Fir and Oak trees. Woodbury Manor has fifty nine bedrooms which are situated over two floors, all rooms having en-suite facilities. It is divided into three separate wings, each having its own lounge or communal seating area. Each wing has access to, and views over, the extensive and beautiful grounds that all residents are free to enjoy at their leisure.
