Your feet are the foundation for everything your body does, but they’re often the last thing we think about when our backs start to ache.

We see it so often, a change in footwear leads to a ripple effect of tension that travels all the way up to the neck and shoulders. If your arches aren't supported, your spine has to do the extra work to keep you balanced, and that’s a heavy load to carry through a busy day.

Have you noticed your body feeling a bit more vocal after a day in flat shoes or sandals?

Our latest blog looks at the link between your feet and your posture, with some simple tips to help you recover. 😌 Hit the link in our bio to read more or book in for a complimentary consultation if you’d like to chat.

If you spend your week at a desk and your weekend on your feet, your body’s constantly having to adapt to two very different worlds. 🙄

That transition can be tough on your joints, especially if you’re asking them to lift, twist, and reach without much of a lead in. It’s not about a lack of fitness, it’s about giving your tissues the respect and the recovery time they need to stay resilient.

What’s the one activity that always seems to leave your shoulders or back feeling sore and achy the next day?

Osteopathy’s about making sure your structure’s sharing the workload properly, so you can enjoy your hobbies without the worry of an injury.

Hit the link in our bio to read our latest tips or to book a chat with us at the clinic. We’re looking forward to hearing from you soon.😌

Does this sound familiar to you… You’re halfway through gardening or finally clearing out the garage, and you feel that tell-tale tug in your lower back. We’ve all been there, and it never gets easier, does it? 😩

It’s easy to ignore it in the moment because you want to get the task finished, but by the time evening rolls around, your body’s making its feelings very clear. Most of the injuries we see aren't from one big accident, they’re from the cumulative strain of a body that hasn't had the chance to warm up before the hard work begins.

Have you caught yourself pushing through the pain just to tick one more thing off your to-do list?

Our latest blog looks at why this happens and how you can stay mobile while still getting things done. Hit the link in the bio to read it in full.

😌 And, if you’re feeling the fallout from a busy weekend, you’re welcome to book a complimentary consultation with us.

I was having osteopathic treatment under John. My condition was not improving john suggested going for an MRI scan. Upon receiving the results, I had a lower disc bulge and a trapped nerve. John suggested I started IDD therapy to help me heal. I started at a pain level of 7, and I am now at a pain level of 3 after 6 weeks of treatment. John has been fantastic and very helpful, and I am on the road to recovery and improving every day. I would highly recommend John and Jessica at Enfield Osteopathic

When routine changes, your body adapts quickly. School holidays, travel and fuller days can lead to subtle increases in muscle tension and reduced recovery without you fully noticing.

Many patients tell us they feel fine until they finally slow down, and that’s when stiffness becomes obvious.

How is your body responding to the current pace of your life? Are you building in recovery, or assuming you will rest later?

😊 Osteopathy offers structured support during these active periods, improving mobility and helping the nervous system settle so that tension does not accumulate.

Hit the link in our bio to read our latest blog. We explain how cumulative strain develops and what you can do to manage it effectively. You’re also welcome to book a complimentary consultation to discuss your individual situation.

We look forward to welcoming you into the clinic soon. And we wish you and your family a happy Easter break.🐰

This is an update on my previous review. I was having osteopathic treatment under John. My condition was not improving john suggested going for an MRI scan. I was in a lot of pain with my back, when I started as a patient with Jessica at the Enfield Osteopathic Clinic. However after several weeks of treatment I am now thankfully almost back to normal. I had so much trust in Jessica, and with her amazing treatment and advice I can now get on with my life.

I could barely walk at the beginning of December. I had that awful flu virus, coughed and felt something go in my lower back.
Thank goodness I met Jessica.. I could barely get onto the bed, bend down, sit or put my shoes on. Jessica is very gentle and she started working on the problem. By the 3rd session I was so much better. I call her the magic muscle healer and whisperer. Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for what Jessica has done for me.. Now to strengthen those muscles and have regular sessions with her. Thank you so much.

With the Easter break approaching, daily life often becomes more physically demanding than we anticipate. Extra driving, lifting children and luggage, later nights and disrupted routines all place additional load on the body.

Have you noticed your shoulders tightening as the week fills up? Or your lower back feeling heavier after time in the car?

During busy periods, muscles hold more tension and recovery time shortens. Osteopathic care can support joint mobility and reduce cumulative strain before discomfort becomes persistent.

In our latest blog, we explore how to manage back pain and stress during the Easter period and share a simple mobility exercise you can use at home.

😊 You can read the full blog by hitting the link in our bio or contact the clinic to arrange a complimentary consultation if you would like personalised guidance.

🐥 Busy periods are part of life. With the right support, they don’t have to result in lingering discomfort. We look forward to welcoming you into the clinic soon. And we wish you and your family a happy Easter break.
