Receiving messages like this on my weekend makes me love my job even more. I have 4 clients that I am currently seeing that have sadly had a right side stroke. To receive this message off my clients daughter who can see the progression and change in her father makes my job even more rewarding. I have been tailoring every session and the progress is huge. I am so proud of each and everyone of my clients for all the effort they put in to every session, even on those days we find that much harder. xS

WOW! My little business is 8 today! Happy 8th Birthday, Mind Over Body. The key to success is to start before you’re ready. 8 years ago today, I launched Mind Over Body and the truth is, I wasn’t ready. I had no confidence or self esteem and I didn’t believe I had what it takes to run my own business. After battling with my mental and physical health for four years, I struggled to believe in myself but I knew I wanted to take my own experiences and try to help others in a positive way. 8 years on and I’ve realised believing in yourself is the first secret to success. I didn’t start my business just to make money. I started my business to make a difference. I’ve learnt so much in the last 8 years and I’ve realised running your own business takes a huge amount of time, effort and long hours but seeing the rewards and the positive impacts Mind Over Body is having on my clients makes it all worth while. Mind Over Body has had a tough year but I am so proud of the journey we are on. Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. There is no greater joy nor greater reward than to make a fundamental difference in someone’s life. The road to success is always under construction and going into my next year of business I promise to work even harder to grow and strengthen Mind Over Body. Just like any small business, it’s come with it’s highs and it’s lows but I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better 8 years in business. Happiness is found when you stop comparing yourself to other people. One of the biggest reasons people don’t exercise is due to lack of interest and confidence. If what you’re doing isn’t fun then why would you commit to it? At Mind Over Body my aim is to prove exercise can be fun and enjoyable and there is no pressure to feel you have to be better than someone else.
