It's been a wet & windy April here so far. But when the sun did manage to break through we were straight in the garden (including the hens who had a long awaited dust bath!) I've got my first orders of nettle tea out and I made a daisy cough syrup to help clear this never ending cough that's been doing the rounds 🙄
Hopefully the weather is on the turn 🤞

Spring foraging favourite

Harvesting fresh cleavers while they’re young and vibrant, then turning them into simple, refreshing cleavers water

How I make it:
🌿 Rinse a handful of fresh cleavers
🌿 Chop lightly to release the juices
🌿 Pour over cold water
🌿 Leave to infuse overnight
🌿 Strain & sip

Benefits 🌱

A quick question for you all... After a lot of interest in my nettle oil, I'm thinking I could offer just pure oils for you to either use as they are, or for you to make into your own salves, lotions and potions!
For example, nettle, cleavers, lemon balm, lavender, calendula, rose, all infused in an organic high quality carrier oil.

What do we think?? 🤔

I love repurposing old iron kitchen pots, pans (even kettles!) as planters. If damaged they are relatively cheap, and the holes allow for drainage! 😂
