Orla Brady Therapies Helping you find balance amongst the chaos

👩🏼‍⚕️ Kinesiologist Trainer
Psychologist in Applied Psychology.

Through my 25 years of experience within the field of kinesiology and psychology, working with high-end athletes and people who have suffered trauma, stress, and poor mental health, I began to realise that one of the biggest problems my clients struggled with was emotional discomfort hidden within their physical body. This led me to research more deeply into the emotional component of the physical body, discovering the possible connection between childhood trauma and unexplained medical symptoms amongst adults, ultimately completing my Ph.D. Through many years of clinical work and experience with those immensely affected by trauma, I have been able to formulate the practice of Energetic Embodiment®. It is now my aim to introduce this process to other therapists who are working within similar fields, as it is through this practice, I believe that one can truly find balance amongst the chaos.

Busy plotting a way to be there for all you “Wild Daisies” 🤗

My Energetic Embodiment training for kinesiologists may be full until next year, but I’m adding the finishing touches to something new for you.

The Wild Daisy Chain will be uncovering the connection between trauma and unexplained medical symptoms amongst adults.

Why Wild Daisies? Because they are the tough ones that thrive even through cracks in the pavement.

You are my kind of people 🥰

I’m always so touched to receive lovely feedback like this from my clients and students. 💕

The real joy though comes from witnessing the transformations they experience 💫

Though I get very busy with clinic work, studies and and teaching my Energetic Embodiment students, I am creating a membership for those of you that may be falling through the cracks.

Think of a wild daisy: They thrive in the cracks … stay tuned for more on this in November.

What is kinesiology? It is a holistic therapy which uses muscle response testing to measure the motor response of the central nervous system to a sensory challenge.

By doing this, imbalances can be determined and methods to rebalance the body can be indicated.

Kinesiology works on the basis that in order have total health, we must look at the person as a complete whole. Factors that affect the physical body will not only have an effect on other parts of the body but will have an effect upon the mind and emotions too.

For example, chronic back pain could lead to a person feeling depressed and by the same token, excessive worry could contribute to the development of a stomach ulcer or digestive problems.

Kinesiology makes use of muscle testing techniques to monitor the flow of energy throughout the body on a very fine level.

Through this system, a kinesiologist practitioner can identify the factors which may be disrupting the natural flow of energy which are essential for good health.

Corrections are made by gentle massage and touch on reflex and acupuncture points.

Kinesiology makes use of specific body movements and may suggest changes in lifestyle or nutrition.
