Yogi of the week across all the classes has to go to Daniel McCarron and when he cant make class he practices on his own to stay flexible and help prevent injury. We are very proud of you Daniel 👍

Dungannon Swifts FC are absolutely delighted to announce that Daniel McCarron has signed a pre-contract with English Premier League side Arsenal FC. Arsenal

Daniel, who recently turned 16, has earned this incredible opportunity through hard work, commitment and consistently outstanding performances. A commanding and composed defender, his move to one of Europe’s elite clubs is fully deserved.

Daniel has already built an impressive football CV at international level, having represented Northern Ireland at U15, U16 and U17 level, and he is set to travel to Spain next week with the U17 squad, continuing his development on the international stage.

At club level, Daniel has been a key part of recent success at Stangmore Park, playing his role in the Swifts Northern Ireland Cup & Cross-Border winning teams.

Daniel will remain with Dungannon Swifts FC for the remainder of the season, continuing to train, play and develop at the club while also completing his studies in Northern Ireland, before officially joining the London club.

This is a landmark moment, not only for Daniel and his family, but for everyone connected to Dungannon Swifts. It underlines the pathway that exists at the club and the quality of young talent being produced.

We are incredibly proud of Daniel and look forward to watching the next chapter of his journey unfold. We wish him every success in this next stage of his football career.

A massive future lies ahead. Congratulations, Daniel.
