We also work closely with you to help you choose the right type of contact lenses that suit your lifestyle and comfort. With a team of two experienced opticians, three trained optical assistants as well as a visiting consultant ophthalmologist we can investigate the most challenging eye conditions and prescriptions. McBride & McCreesh Opticians are currently looking for a part-time Optical Assistant to join our friendly, professional team.

Working days:
• Thursdays & Fridays
• Extra days available to cover holidays and busy periods

Experience:
Previous experience is an advantage but not essential — full training will be provided.

Key responsibilities include:
• Booking and managing patient appointments
• Maintaining patient records
• Assisting patients with frame selection and fitting
• Answering phone calls and general admin duties
• Managing stock and inventory
• Processing payments at reception

This role would suit someone who is personable, organised, and enjoys working with the public in a healthcare setting.
