Your body doesn’t just “bounce back” after having a baby - and it’s not supposed to 👇

There’s so much more going on than what you can see.
After pregnancy and birth, your body may be dealing with:• Abdominal stretching• Pelvic changes and misalignment• Weakness through glutes and a lack of co-ordination in your core• Changes in sensation and control

All of this can affect how you move, how you feel, and how you return to exercise.

Which is why going back to “normal” workouts too quickly (even Pilates) isn’t always the answer.
It’s about:✔️ Understanding what your body has been through✔️ Rebuilding strength in the right places✔️ Moving with control and confidence again

I’ve got a video about exactly this on my YouTube channel (in stories) and I’ve summarised it into this infographic - to help you return to exercise safely and effectively 🤍

Trying to figure out how to exercise with a baby?

You’re not alone. Most mums I work with don’t struggle with motivation - it’s just finding something that actually fits around life with a newborn.

That’s exactly why I run baby-friendly postnatal Pilates classes in Epping (and have done for 15 years).

If you’d like to get started (or just want to ask a question), send me a message 💛

You deserve to feel strong again
Postnatal recovery isn’t just about bouncing back to what you did before pregnancy.
Most women are discharged at 6 weeks and left to figure it out.
Join me for a 4-week reset starting tomorrow in Epping.
Yes, baby can come too (but they don’t have to)
Yes, it’s okay if you’ve had a C-section, have pelvic floor issues, lower back issues or you’re worried about abdominal separation.
Yes, it’s absolutely fine if you haven’t done Pilates before.
This is all about your pace of recovery - it doesn’t matter how old baby is.
This is your last nudge!
3 spaces left and it’s £60 for the 4-week course.

If you’ve been watching, meaning to message, waiting to feel “ready” - this is your nudge.

Post Natal Pilates isn’t about bouncing back.

It’s about rebuilding properly.

Restore core and pelvic floor function
Feel confident exercising again
Strengthen safely after C-section or abdominal separation
Train in a small, supportive group (with baby welcome)

This course has been running for 15 years in Epping because women want reassurance, structure and expert guidance - not guesswork.

If you’re in Epping, Theydon Bois, Loughton, North Weald, Ongar, Waltham Abbey, Harlow or Thornwood, this is your local chance to do this properly.

4 spaces.
Doors close Tuesday.

Essential course info (because if a few people ask I’ve obviously not made it very clear):
Post Natal Pilates starts this Wednesday 4th March.

Babies can come too but not essential. This is a class for you.
£60 includes weekly classes, access to online course and additional Pilates classes, join my other classes during the course.
And of course access to me! Ask me anything.
It’s not a basic Pilates course! This is programmed for who I have in my class. I teach in layers so I can build slowly or add challenges where you need it!
Most people don’t need more. They need less but to really build that confidence again.
Ask me anything!
Currently I waiting out my daughter’s London dance rehearsals so have an hour to kill!

PS: will be playing Lenny classics until my husband books me tickets to see him in the summer.

Still not feeling like yourself after baby?
You want to exercise… but you don’t want to do the wrong thing.
Maybe it’s:- A tummy that still feels disconnected- Leaking when you sneeze or cough- A C-section scar that feels numb or tight- Lower back pain from feeding- Or just not knowing what’s actually safe
The hardest part isn’t motivation. It’s confidence.

That’s exactly why I run my 4-Week Postnatal Recovery Reset starting 4 March in Epping.

This is not a bootcamp. It’s not “bounce back” pressure.
It’s small group, expert-led support to help you:✔ Reconnect with your core✔ Strengthen your pelvic floor✔ Support C-section recovery✔ Reduce back pain✔ Feel strong and in control again

I’ve been supporting women through this stage for nearly 20 years - and you will be met exactly where you are.

Babies welcome (but not essential)Maximum 8 womenProper guidance, not guesswork

If you’re ready to feel more like you again, this is your sign.
