Today we had our launch party for joining Care UK. Staff were given goodie bags as a thank you and we then had a great afternoon in the courtyard with the residents and staff for a party with Johnny Mack Entertainment, there was plenty of fun and laughter as well as dancing and singing, everyone said what a great time they had had. We had a visit from an ice cream van to give ice creams to all staff, this was very welcomed by everyone. This was a great day for Staff Appreciation week to say thank you to all of our staff for their hard work and dedication to the home and residents.

Staff appreciation week is under way with today being pyjama day with staff wearing pyjamas and being comfortable and then hunting for pegs that had been hidden around the home to get a prize.
Tomorrow is our launch day to CareUK so we have an ice cream van coming and then a party in the afternoon with Johnny from Mack Entertainment

Today is the start of "Staff appreciation week" 🎉🎉 This week we are saying a huge thank you to all our dedicated staff members.

Today we started with complimentary cakes 🍰 and treats with specialty coffees ☕🍵for everyone. Tomorrow we have a pyjama day for all staff and a "hunt the pegs" game to win prizes 🎁.

The rest of the week is full of activities and treats. More photos and updates will follow!

Another lovely trip out in the sunshine to our local pond to feed the ducks and watch the world go buy. We are so lucky to have this so close to our home. ☀️🦢 🦆

A great afternoon yesterday with Claire from Mack Entertainment. Residents and staff up dancing and singing for the whole hour. we love the upbeat songs to get us energized.

What better way to spend glorious sunny days then to spend them at our local pond feeding the ducks, playing the musical instruments and watching the world go by. ☀️🌞🎶🦆🦢

With the weather changing so much we decided to make bird feeders for the wildlife. These were made from pipe cleaners and cheerios. A fun and social activity talking about all the different kinds of birds we see.

Today we were delivered some beautiful hand written letters for our residents from Ewell Castle Prep School. Each letter told us what they liked doing at school, there favourite pass time and a message to make us smile. What a lovely gesture and we will be sending some letters back to the year 6 children.

The sun ☀️was out and what a great way to spend the day but taking residents out to the local ponds and feed the ducks 🦆and swans. Residents loved the fresh air and watching other people walking through the park.
