Community pharmacies affected by aspirin price rise

A community pharmacist has told BBC supply chain issues had led some stockists to raise prices of box of aspirin from 38p to £7.82. He said no pharmacy is going to be able to afford to buy it in at that price which far exceeds what they will be reimbursed by NHS at present time.

Pharmacists say the cost to buy a box of aspirin from suppliers was 38p but is now around £7.
