A section taken from my newsletter that I write for Craftmyday 💜

The new month of February has landed and the long January has departed, let's take a moment to send some love and gratitude out to the world. I know it feels quiet heavy out there at the moment, and personally, I do my best to give our minds a break from it all, sharing ways to stay encouraged, and use our creative spirit to raise the vibe within our shared world.

Our creative spirit is what keeps this world in some sort of balance. We put our thoughts onto paper, fabric, and whatever else we can get our hands on - sharing a little piece of us, that will in turn inspire others to do the same. When we put out our art, we are sharing from within. Even if we keep the art for ourselves, the message is still clear - we are creators, and together, we create a world that speaks from the soul, sharing a message through colour, shape, and feeling.

So if the world feels a little heavy, don't forget you hold the power, pick up a pen, pick up some paint, or your sewing machine, and create something that speaks from the heart - Create something that fills you will love, and that love will be felt 💖

Music tings…

Mobygratis is a free sound library launched by electronic artist Moby all the way back in 2005 with the goal of providing creators of all kinds with high-quality, royalty-free music to use in their projects. The library has since supported over 50,000 indie films and media projects.

This week, Moby announced a relaunch of Mobygratis that brings 500 new tracks to the platform.

The majority of the library's songs can be downloaded in both MP3, WAV and multitrack formats, making it easier to remix, adapt and customize music to suit any project. The library also now has improved search and filter functionality, so you're able to filter tracks by genre, mood or BPM to hone in on exactly the vibe you're looking for.
