Important Patient Update

Due to the current winter viruses circulating and the upcoming doctors’ strike, our practice capacity is unfortunately being affected.

While we understand how frustrating this is, there may be occasions where we have to cancel appointments that have already been made. Please be assured this is not a decision we take lightly, and we sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We will always do our best to rebook urgent appointments as soon as possible. However, appointments that are not deemed urgent may need to be rescheduled into the New Year.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued kindness towards our staff during this very challenging time. Your support truly means a lot to us.

Winter Vaccine Day at Owston Ferry Surgery! 🌟

We’re thrilled to be welcoming 500 patients through our doors today for their winter vaccines! 💉❄️

If you arrive a little early — that’s absolutely fine. You don’t need to wait in your car — please come straight in, and one of our nurses will see you very quickly.

Please note that our team will be taking a well-earned break between 12:30 and 1:30pm, so the doors will be closed during that hour to give everyone a chance to eat and recharge before the afternoon session.

👉 A quick reminder: Today’s clinic is by appointment only. Unfortunately, we’re not able to offer walk-in vaccinations today.

Some of our team completed the first ever South Axholme Practice Park Run this morning.
Seasoned runners like Dr Wilkinson were joined by other members of the team and their family who are currently doing couch to 5k 🏃‍♂️🏃🏃‍♀️

📱 If your result is normal, you’ll get it securely in the app.
📩 You’ll still get a letter in the post if you don’t have the app, or if more tests are needed.
