WE FINALLY DID IT! 🥳 (And yes, we need a nap now!)

To say we are "excited" is the understatement of the year. After mountains of planning, buckets of coffee, many trials, and just a little bit of stress... today we officially cut the ribbon on our 'Dementia Experience Hub'! ✂️🎀

A massive, massive shoutout to Andrew from the Alzheimer's Society for doing the honours, and to our amazing local Councillor Nicola Taylor- Erith Ward for being there and for your constant support. You are both legends! ⭐

So, what is it? This is a completely FREE immersive experience right here in our office. It allows you to walk a mile in the shoes of someone living with dementia to truly understand how the world might feel to them.

How to join in: We are running selective sessions by pre-booking only.

Let’s change how we see dementia! Let’s turn empathy into action and make our community the most supportive place possible. (But first, we celebrate!) 🥂

What an amazing weekend of connection and community! 🌟

We are feeling so grateful after spending time at the health and wellness day at Dartford East Health Centre. It was fantastic to connect with so many different services in our community, learning about the vital work they do and discussing how we can support each other.

It was also a brilliant opportunity to meet local residents and share the services we provide. We were especially thrilled with the positive feedback from our talk on the WoW guide—thank you to everyone who attended and shared their thoughts!

A special highlight was meeting Green Cllr Laura Edie and hearing her inspiring journey into politics, which all started with a local litter-picking group. 🌳 It's always a pleasure to catch up with the Mayor of Dartford and Deputy Mayor , and we even managed a quick hello with Jim Dickson MP for Dartford on the way out.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Kashmir for organising such a wonderful and important event and for inviting us to contribute.
