We’re delighted to welcome Jayne and her wonderful dog Presley to Princess Alice Hospice as new volunteers with Pets As Therapy.

🧑🏻‍🎄 Christmas Events Assistant

We’re thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity to join our Fundraising Team on a temporary basis to support our Christmas events programme.

This is a hands-on role that plays a pivotal part in helping deliver our festive calendar, with a particular focus on our flagship event – Santa Fun Run – which aims to raise an incredible £70,000.

You will be involved in researching and ordering stock, liaising with suppliers, loading and driving a small van, putting up banners, and distributing leaflets to businesses and organisations across our care area. You’ll work closely with community fundraisers to distribute leaflets to local shops and cafés and engage with colleagues across the organisation to promote the event.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about event planning and community engagement, highly organised, a strong administrator, and a real team player. You’ll bring energy, enthusiasm, and festive spirit to everything you do. You’ll be helping put the fun into our Santa Fun Run, so expect to find yourself dressed as Santa or an Elf, spreading cheer around the Hospice and out in the community to get people excited and signed up for the most joyful event of the year.
