What a wonderful birthday buffet lunch today as Bupa celebrated 40 years.
Residents, staff and a few family members enjoyed a delicious buffet lunch, with a performance from the talented cellist player Jenny. The soothing sounds of the cello created a warm, uplifting atmosphere that we all thoroughly enjoyed!
Thank you to all who helped make the day so memorable - from the chef who prepared the lovely spread, to all the other staff members who supported our residents.

🌸 A Thoughtful Gesture at Arbrook Care Home 🌸

We were truly touched when the family of one of our lovely residents brought in a beautiful bouquet of flowers to thank our team for the care we’ve given to their grandfather. 💐

We arranged the flowers in vases and placed them in the dining hall and reception area – now the whole home is filled with their vibrant colour and a lovely, fresh scent. It’s brought smiles to everyone’s faces and reminds us why we do what we do. 💖

A heartfelt thank you to the family for their kindness – your gesture means the world to us!

Yesterday, we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating a truly special milestone at Arbrook House. Our dear resident Pepita and her wonderful husband Graham marked their 65th wedding anniversary — a beautiful journey of love and togetherness. 💖

We surprised them with a lovely cake and a bouquet, and their joy lit up the room. It was a heartfelt moment shared with smiles, laughter, and happy tears.

Today at Arbrook House, our lounge was transformed into a concert hall as we played Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 for our residents. The beautiful harmonies and powerful piano passages brought joy, smiles, and a sense of calm to everyone who joined us.

It was a wonderful way to share the timeless magic of classical music together. 🎼💛

We were deeply touched by a lovely surprise from the daughter of one of our residents. As a thank you for the care and support we provided to her dad. She brought in chocolates, flowers, and heartfelt cards for all our staff and managers.

It was a beautiful reminder of the meaningful relationships we build with our resident’s and their families.

Thank you for your kindness, it truly brightened our day 💐🍫💝
