Aligning the body's seven main energy centers during meditation is a powerful way to clear the emotions, bring physical relief and find clarity.
Our bodies seven chakras are like spinning wheels of energy, vital and vibrant.
Situated through the centre of the body, from the base of the torso all the way up to the crown of the head.
If these wheels aren't spinning at tip top levels the energy becomes stagnant, blocked or out of sync,
having a strong bearing on how we feel, mentally, emotionally or physically.
Chakra awareness can easily be woven into a meditation practice, using visualisation of each chakra's energetic colour, breathing exercises and mantras to encourage vital life force to flow and clear the energy blocks.
Just 10-15 minutes of chakra meditation a day can create a noticeable shift in mood and energy.

CHAKRA TILES
ROOT - Tailbone - dark red, grounding, stabilising. security.
SACRAL - Below the naval, orange, new beginnings, creativity, passion
SOLAR PLEXUS - base of sternum, yellow, power, strength, motivation
HEART - centre of chest - green, nurture, nourish, love.
THROAT - light blue, communication, self expression, listening.
THIRD EYE - centre of throat - purple, intuition, insight, the unknown.
CROWN - centre of top of head - violet white, wisdom, reflection, enlightenment.
