Want to make a difference to your strength and fitness?

Then this is key!

You must commit to a fitness schedule. You need to work out at least 3 x per week to really see a change.

SO carve out some time in your week and stick to it!! It will take time, so if you don't see results straight away, don't give up. Keep going and you'll soon notice a difference.

Want a seriously delicious way to strength build?

Eat Greek yogurt!!

OK, so you will need to lift some weights as well, but this yummy, thick, creamy stuff is a great food to help you build that muscle.

Did you know that Greek yoghurt often contains double the amount of protein as regular yoghurt? And, as it contains slow and fast burning protein it may well be great to have after a workout or even before you hit the hay!

The scale is not your friend!!! Instead...

When you start strength building, you will start building muscle mass which may cancel out the fat you lose.

Use measurements and photos to monitor your progress instead - this will be much more accurate.

How??

Well, the more muscle you build, the harder your metabolism works, so it means, when you start lifting weights and doing the types of exercises that build strength, you automatically start burning more calories, EVEN WHEN YOU ARE ASLEEP!!

And who doesn't want this??!!

Yes you can gain muscle and lose fat, how?

Among other things, you need to be lifting heavy things!! And here are a few examples of what you can use. It really doesn't matter, although with actual weights, you can measure your progress in gaining more strength by seeing how much more you can lift each time.

On the other hand, I have been known to do my squats with my 8 year old on my shoulders!!

Each 85 gram serving of salmon contains a whopping 17g of protein. It also contain almost 2 grams of omega 3 fatty acids which play a vital role in muscular health and even increase muscle gain during workouts.
