We are a “Good To Go” COVID ready, Self-catering old English Stone holiday cottage, cosy with its original Inglenook fire place. Minimum stay 3 nights.

Located in the village of Evercreech, in Somerset close to Glastonbury and Wells. Holiday cottage available for self-catering holidays. "Enniskerry"- in the heart of the small but vibrant village of Evercreech, close to the Mendip Hills. It is a cosy stone cottage, which is over 250 years old and has been tastefully refurbished by the Love family. It retains many original features including a working Inglenook fireplace. The cottage offers two bedrooms upstairs: one king double and one large twin-bedded room. For occassional, additional overnight use, there is a double-futon downstairs. Gorgeous cottage garden with barbie, table and chairs. The whole cottage is served by a gas central heating/hot water system via nest. Fully fitted kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, washer/dryer, Nespresso coffee machine, iron, ironing board. The bathroom has been refurbed with a double walk in shower and a double ended bath. The Bell Inn is a popular local pub with a gorgeous beer garden which looks out onto fields - perfect for a summers day. The Village Hall is central with a co op open 7am to 10 pm daily and contains a post-office and ATM. Great little Bakery, Fish and Chip shop, Chemist and Doctors surgery - a stone's throw from the cottage front door! Available all year for weekly lets and short breaks. Prices from £125 per night depending on time of year inc cleaning and linen with discounts for longer stays.

Happy New year! We have reduced the minimum nights for a short break to 2. No need to use your well earned holiday days in order to have a weekend away! We have just received a cancellation for booking over the Glastonbury weekend. We therefore have the cottage available as a minimum booking from Thurs to Monday - 4 nights over the Glastonbury festival in June. 22nd - 26th... we are able to book more days before and after the event. Sunninghill’s Annual Charity Wheelbarrow Race being held on Monday May 1st at Noon. Now into its 25th year, this community event needs your support so dust off your wheelbarrows and organise a team of 4 to run the streets of Sunninghill for a good cause. In 2022, with the help of the Rotary Club of Ascot, we were able to donate £7,000 to the Ascot Day Centre and raise monies for other local charities.

You can participate as a family, with friends and with work colleagues – and the fancy dress and wheelbarrow design can be as creative as you like OR as simple as you choose. The important thing is to participate. For those competitive people, there are 6 prizes to be won in the different team categories.

If you are not able to enter a team, then please come along and watch the events unfold along the streets of Sunninghill. There will also be post-race activities held at the Comrades Club including prize giving, charity auction and hot food to enjoy.
