Pilates exercises use our muscles in synergy with each other which helps to prepare and support our bodies for the physical challenges we face in every day life. Alongside the physical benefits, Pilates can also help to increase ones sense of wellbeing and reduce stress levels. Massage:

On my way home from ANOTHER fantastic training course with Kelly Demain at gateway_workshops!

This treatment is gaining global popularity for its ability to sculpt the body, improve circulation and boost overall wellness and I’m SO excited to introduce it to my clinic.

Brazilian lymphatic drainage is a specialised massage technique designed to stimulate the lymphatic system, promote fluid movement, reduce swelling, enhance detoxification and sculpt the body.

Wood therapy, or madero therapy, uses wooden tools to stimulate the body’s natural processes (think natural collagen production). Primarily used for body contouring, lymphatic drainage and muscle relaxation, this technique targets areas of concern and helps to break down fatty deposits, improve circulation and promote overall wellbeing ❤️.

I just had a treatment and it was so relaxing that I will have to have a doze on the train 😴. Hopefully someone wakes me up before I miss my stop 🤣😳

So….

It’s been about three months since I completed my Hot Bamboo massage training and I have to say, it’s been a complete revelation for myself and my clients.

Hot bamboo therapy is an innovative and still relatively new treatment to the UK, combining
the use of heated bamboo sticks with traditional massage techniques to deliver an arguably deeper and more targeted treatment to the client.

During the treatment I incorporate a range of different length and shape heated bamboo sticks into the massage, allowing for deeper work into the muscle tissue.

The application of heat prepares the muscle tissue for massage more efficiently and works to increase blood flow, thereby improving circulation and lymphatic drainage. The muscles become more relaxed and malleable through the application of heat, allowing for deeper pe*******on and healing of the tissues.

The feedback has been so very positive and it’s got to the point now where warming the sticks is a pre-requisite for my day and part of my morning routine. Everyone either wants to try it or have it again which is fine by me 😊
