🌿 First Aid Training in the Garden! 🌞
We had an amazing time during our first outdoor First Aid training session — right in the garden! The weather was perfect, and our fun, enthusiastic team came ready to learn and left upskilled and more confident in their ability to respond to emergencies.
Led by the brilliant Steve Collis from UPPER LIMITS UK, the training covered a wide range of essential First Aid skills, including:
🫁 CPR techniques – practicing both mouth-to-mouth and mouth-to-nose resuscitation
🧠 How to assess and manage an unconscious casualty
💔 Dealing with choking, burns, bleeding, and shock
🩹 Wound care and bandaging techniques
🚑 How to safely put someone into the recovery position
📟 Understanding how and when to use an AED (defibrillator)
Using realistic training dolls and hands-on practice, the team got stuck in and developed real confidence — all in a relaxed, sunny setting that made the experience both enjoyable and effective.
We’re proud to see our staff upskilled and empowered to deliver the highest level of care and safety, and deeply grateful to Steve for his expert guidance, patience, and great sense of humour.
