🛍️ Community Shopping Event – Wednesday the 18th

We’re excited to welcome James and Kay from We Clothe For You who will be visiting us next Wednesday between 10:30am and 12:00pm.

They’ll be bringing a selection of clothing and items, and everyone in the community is warmly invited to come along and have a browse and do a little shopping. It’s a great chance to pick up something useful, support a fantastic organisation, and enjoy a friendly chat.

📅 When: Wednesday the 18th
⏰ Time: 10:30am – 12:00pm

We’d love to see as many people from the community there as possible — please feel free to drop in!

Our little chicks are doing well selling at Evesham Leisure Centre! 💛🐥💛

The ladies and community have been working so hard on these chicks ensuring that everyone gets one! We still have some available here at Cavendish Park as-well as the Lesuire Center, so if you’d like one make sure to pop in and pick one up! 🐣💛

They are £1.50 each and all money raised is going to Evesham defibrillator! ✨🫶

This week Kim and Tea laced up their trainers and headed out for an after-work run as part of our Wellbeing Wednesday activities! ✨

Caring for others starts with caring for ourselves, and we’re so proud of our staff for making time to support their own health and wellbeing. Fresh air, friendly chats, and a few miles under our belts – the perfect way to unwind after a busy day of providing outstanding care. 😊

Here at Cavendish Park, our hearts are full 💛

We are guided every day by our values, ❤️ Heart | 🤝 Trust | 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family | 🌿 Adventure | 😊 Happiness and this week was such a lovely reminder of why they matter so much.

We’ve created a special Ramadan Reflection Space within our home for anyone who is observing this important time. It’s a quiet, peaceful area for prayer and reflection, and it means so much to be able to offer this to our community.

Yesterday, we welcomed Hassan from Hidden Hearing, who was visiting our residents. He asked if we had somewhere quiet he could pray, and we were absolutely delighted to show him the space. Seeing how much he appreciated it truly made our day!

That’s what HEART looks like to us. That’s FAMILY. And that’s what makes Cavendish Park such a special place to be.

A wonderful day of sourdough & smiles! ✨🧑‍🍳🍞

Over the weekend, the residents enjoyed a sourdough masterclass with Michael teaching and showing us everything we need to know about sourdough! 🍞

There’s something so special about the smell of freshly baked bread filling the home. ❤️
It brought back lovely memories and sparked wonderful conversations around the room! And of course… the best part was taste testing the freshly made bread!

Thank you so much to Michael for keeping us company and bringing us some delicious sourdough, we greatly appreciate it and hope for a second class soon! 🫶

This Ramadan, we are proud to share a special space we have created within our home for team members and visitors. Designed with calm, comfort, and inclusivity in mind, this quiet area offers a place to pause, reflect, or pray during the holy month.

The space has been thoughtfully set up to provide a moment of peace away from the busyness of the day—whether for personal prayer, quiet reflection, or simply a few mindful moments. We hope it helps everyone who uses it feel supported, respected, and welcomed.

Ramadan is a time of compassion, reflection, and community, and we are delighted to recognise and celebrate this by creating an environment where people of all faiths feel valued.

🥞🎉 Flippin’ Fantastic Fun at Cavendish Park🎉🥞

What a wonderful day we had on Tuesday celebrating pancake day with our amazing residents and staff — and yes, there was plenty of pancake flipping involved! 🙈

Laughter filled the room as everyone took turns showing off their flipping skills (some more successful than others! 😉). From perfectly golden pancakes to a few that needed a “second try,” it was all about having fun, sharing smiles, and making special memories together 🥰
