We’re delighted to share the completion of the 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐦𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐮𝐦 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐝𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲, delivered by 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐬 𝐋𝐭𝐝.

This isn’t the first mausoleum we’ve built at Bedford. We have previously collaborated with the cemetery on earlier mausoleum developments, and as those spaces have become increasingly well used, this newest build helps ensure the cemetery can continue to provide this important memorial option for families in the local community.

Across the UK, many cemeteries are beginning to think carefully about how they plan for future memorial space. As available land becomes more limited, options such as mausoleums can form part of a wider strategy — offering a dignified above-ground memorial solution while making thoughtful use of existing grounds.

Bringing History Back to Life: Coopers Monument Renovation

We’re thrilled to share that the renovation of the Coopers Monument at Maldon Fields Crematorium is nearing completion! 🌟

This project has been a labour of love, and the monument is looking truly magnificent. As part of the finishing touches, we’ve been working on restoring the surrounding railings to complement the monument’s refreshed look. A final tidy-up is all that’s needed before it’s ready to be admired once again in all its glory.

At Greenbridge Designs, we take pride in preserving the character and history of monuments like this one, ensuring they continue to stand as timeless tributes for generations to come.

Every year, as Remembrance Day approaches, our team comes together for a rewarding and meaningful day of restoration and care. We clean and polish the memorial, ensuring it is restored to its full glory, ready to honour the memories of those who gave everything for our freedom.
