We are celebrating International Paramedic day!

What’s it all about ?

International Paramedics Day is an annual event held on the 8th July to celebrate and recognize the vital role of paramedics and first responders worldwide. It was launched in 2022 by the College of Paramedics in the UK and is supported by paramedic organizations globally. The date commemorates the birthday of Dominique-Jean Larrey, the French military doctor credited as the "father of modern ambulance services". This year's theme is Unity and Community, highlighting the collaborative efforts of paramedics and their connection to the communities they serve.

Today aims to;

Recognize the invaluable contributions of paramedics.

Raise awareness about the diverse work of paramedics.

Promote the paramedic profession to aspiring students.

Foster a sense of unity and community among paramedics worldwide.

We at County Events and Medical Ltd are proud of the Paramedics that work for us, our newly qualified Paramedics and Student Paramedics that our senior clinicians are working with and mentoring in order to share knowledge and allow the next generation of Padamedics to practice vital skills in a different arena other than the typical frontline environment.

And like that it’s a wrap!

A big THANK YOU to all our staff for the last 3 days of festival madness, a thank you to Bristol Volksfest for once again entrusting County Events and Medical Ltd to provide and an onsite Treatment centre staffed by our amazing team. As always our thanks go to our partners in crime GB Fire Solutions for proving and collaborative working in order to keep everyone safe!
A special mention to Tiger Stripe Events Ltd for Poppy the ATV that has been out responding across the site, allowing our teams a quick response to patients even with the challenges of the weather and thick mud!

Meet our Festival Rockstars! You might not have spotted them when out enjoying the Festival but they were there, busy in the background keeping everyone safe and caring for those in a time of need.

As the saying goes.. that’s a wrap for this years Sunshine Festival that ended on Monday for the public, for us we are cleaning down and restocking the Ambulances and treatment centre to make sure the next event they go to has the right equipment, at the right place at the right time.

Thanks to Sunshine Festival GB Fire Solutions Festival Angels Upton Baptist Church.
