Tibialis Anterior is an underrated and undertrained muscle. It is located on the front lateral part of your calf. Its primary function is to dorsiflex (raise your foot towards the ceiling). Its primary function is crucial in ankle stability and when it’s healthy and strong reduces force transmission into the knee.
To exercise these muscles lean against a wall with your feet in front of you. Slowly and controlled raise and lower (like in the video) for 20 to 25 repetitions daily.
