💙 On World Hospice and Palliative Care Day, we’re reminded of the extraordinary compassion and strength shown by Care Assistants like Heather 💙

Heather was supporting a couple’s package when the husband sadly passed away. In that critical moment, she followed Bluebird’s emergency guidelines—calling 999 and performing CPR until paramedics arrived. Her swift actions and professionalism were praised by the attending paramedic.

Heather then chose to stay on in the placement, offering comfort and support to the wife through an incredibly difficult time. Her empathy and dedication embody the very heart of palliative care.

We are extremely proud of Heather. She is a truly valued member of our Live-in Care Team and a shining example of care at its most human 💐

🌟 Care Workers of the Month 🌟

We are thrilled to announce our Care Workers of the Month for September!

Exeter - Phoebe works hard to identify and highlight any concerns or difficulties customers may be facing, always ensuring that appropriate support is provided safely and to the highest possible standard.

Exmouth - Rachel's progress is a true testament to her determination and her heart for care. We are incredibly proud to have her on the team.

East Devon - Alex consistently goes above and beyond in her role, working tirelessly to ensure that all customers' care needs are met, without compromise.

Teign - Rebecca consistently delivers high-quality care with unwavering kindness and compassion, making a profound difference in the lives of those she supports.

Live-in - we recently completed spot checks with Matt and were very impressed... it was a real pleasure to see the excellent professional relationship between Matt and his customer. His customer reported that he is extremely pleased with the manner in which Matt supports him.
