Oncology massage is often something therapists feel unsure about.

Not because they don’t care — but because they want to get it right.

With the right knowledge and understanding, this work becomes less about fear…
and more about offering safe, supportive, and deeply meaningful treatments to those who need it most.

It’s not about doing more.
It’s about knowing how to adapt, how to listen, and how to work with confidence.

And for many therapists, it becomes some of the most rewarding work they do.

Our upcoming Oncology Massage Diploma in May now has just one space remaining.

If this is something you’ve been thinking about, this is your moment to take that step.

Visit our website for more info and to secure the last space!

When you slow down, everything changes.

You feel more.
You notice more.
You respond more.

And your client feels it too.

When you truly understand what you’re doing — and why — your treatments become more effective, more intuitive, and more impactful.

Less doing.
More knowing.

Fascia is often overlooked, but it’s one of the most important structures in the body — and it responds best to slow, sustained pressure rather than fast, repetitive movements.

When we work with fascia mindfully:
✨ Tension patterns release more easily
✨ Clients feel deeper relaxation
✨ The nervous system benefits alongside the physical tissue

Slowing down your technique doesn’t just improve results — it transforms the way your client experiences the whole treatment.

Think of it as working with the body, rather than just on it.

💡 Tip: Next time you’re massaging, notice how a slower, more intentional approach changes what you feel under your hands — and what your client feels too.

Not everything your client is holding will be said out loud.

But you feel it — in the tension, the guarding, the way their body responds to your touch.

This is where your work goes beyond technique.

Learning to trust what you feel (without overthinking it) is what helps you respond in a way that truly supports your client.

You don’t need to fix everything.

Just being present, aware, and responsive is enough 💛

Following on from introducing Jo yesterday…

If you’ve been feeling drawn to working more with the face, this is your sign.

Our Rejuvenating Lift & Sculpt Face Massage course is more than just a technique-based training — it’s about understanding the face, the skin, and how deeply connected it is to the nervous system.

This treatment has become incredibly popular with clients, not just for visible results, but for how it makes them feel — relaxed, lifted, and restored.

And as a therapist, it gives you the confidence to work more intuitively and effectively with the face.

There are just a few spaces left on our upcoming course.

If it’s been on your mind, now is the time to take a closer look.

Meet Jo 💛

Jo is an experienced therapist and teacher with a real passion for the face and skin.

Jo brings a wealth of knowledge and experience into her teaching, along with a calm, clear presence that helps students feel supported and confident as they learn.

She has a natural ability to simplify and guide, making her a much-loved tutor within the school.

Make sure you secure your place on our next Manual Lymphatic Drainage course starting in June and take advantage of the early bird offer...but be quick as this ends in a couple of days on the 6th April.

This comprehensive course is designed specifically for massage therapists, and other bodywork professionals who want to incorporate gentle yet powerful techniques into their practice to support immune health, reduce swelling, and promote healing. Or it may be that you have already completed a short course in MLD but don’t feel confident, or feel there is more you would like to learn.

Your consultation is so much more than just a formality.

It’s the moment your client decides…
Do I feel comfortable here?
Do I feel listened to?
Can I trust this therapist?

And often, it’s the part of the treatment that gets rushed the most.

When you slow down and become more intentional with your consultation, everything that follows improves — your treatment flows better, your client relaxes more deeply, and you feel more confident in what you’re doing.

It’s not about asking more questions.
It’s about asking better ones… and really listening to the answers.

This is something we come back to again and again in training, because it truly makes such a difference to your work.

Do you feel confident in your consultations, or is it something you’re still finding your way with?
