A little recap from Easter and all the fun we had!

Makes a huge difference when the sun is out…getting me excited for the summer!

Back to normal routine tomorrow and in looking forward to a bit more structure again!

I work an feel much better when there are more boundaries in place, which is exactly what I like to teach my girls in NKD!

Weekends don’t need to undo your progress.

This is 1600 calories with 120g+ protein and it still looks like proper food… not sad salads and restriction.

You can have a slow breakfast, a decent dinner, something sweet, and still stay on track without overthinking it.

Most people don’t struggle because they “lack discipline”
They struggle because they’ve never been shown what balance actually looks like.

This is it.

It’s so easy on a weight loss journey to not be able to see how far you have come, especially if you are only using the scales as the only measure of progress.

This beautiful queen has been working with myself and there have been times that she has felt like she has ruined everything and lost all her progress

But I’ll tell you now, when we compare her currently photos to where she was… my goodness the difference is real!

Mel first came to me fed up, frustrated, and ashamed, of how she looked. She had been trying to lose weight for years, always losing and gaining the same stone over and over again but never got anywhere.

It got to the point where Mel felt uncomfortable in all her clothes, she started avoiding social occasions due to how she looked, and dreaded going to the beach on holiday.

When I started working with Mel, and after an initial analysis of her lifestyle, it was very clear, she had one clear problem. Over restricting and then over eating, throw in weekends being different and you’ve got a complete recipe for gaining and getting further away, not closer to your goals.

She would be really “good” in the week, to only fall off track over the weekend, over eat, and drink too much, sabotaging her hard work Mon-fri, leaving her back at square one “every monday”

To help fix this, we used a balancing portions approach where we slightly reduced calories down Mon-Fri, and increased Calories over the weekend. This way, it helped Mel enjoy more food/drinks, over the weekend, however still adhere to the weekly targets. ��Mel has has managed to shift 4 stone of stubborn body fat, over come the binge and restrict cycle, and now fits back into her old clothes

As a result Mel now wears the clothes she wants to. She feel far more confident in herself attending social events, and she even bought a bikini to wear on holiday!

I speak to so many women who feel that once they lose weight and start to feel healthy they will become a new woman, but really, improving yourself isn’t actually about becoming someone different. It’s about being the best version possible of you. 

The best way to do this is by removing the things that have been holding you back from becoming that version…not introducing the latest fad or gimmicks.

YOU and all my girls have already got a version of you that feels their best, capable and just simply “like you again” its just underneath the every day stresses, poor habits and loss of direction.

You aren’t lost, you don’t need to reinvent yourself.

You’ve just got to bring her out.
