We always wish for sunshine but for today's wedding ceremony I was weirdly relieved to be indoors at the beautiful Froginwell Vineyard, Exeter. It meant the two mums could light the unity candle and it stayed alight! A stunning ceremony with guests bringing dogs, best friends singing to the couple (getting the guests to join in), handfasting, extraordinarily emotional vows, etc. Sheer joy.

Friday's wedding in glorious Berkshire sunshine for a couple I know very well. A totally different experience and such an honour.
The couple walked in to the ceremony with their mums. I wanted to welcome Hungarian family to the day, but was hopeless at learning even a simple sentence so I made some signs and borrowed 4 guests to help me. We included a unity candle to signify the joining of two families, and a handfasting before extremely emotional vows. Congratulations Mrs and Mrs Barefoot!

Wedding prep sorted for tomorrow's day in a Berkshire garden. Just got to learn Hungarian ready for the ceremony. Yikes!

A beautiful wedding on the edge of Dartmoor yesterday, full of wild flowers and wonder. Congratulations to Jacques and Rachel. So chuffed the weather was stonking hot and we could hold the ceremony outside in the glorious lush green. With readings by close family and friends, a perfect celebration of love.

At the Barn there is always a plan B. Yesterday we had to come inside for the ceremony, but the sun came out eventually and completed a beautiful day. I love it when there is laughter and tears during a wedding ceremony and we had both for Alex and Kate. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Glanfield.

A farewell with such immense support from friends for a family in difficult circumstances. Absolutely stunning flowers created by Richards Florists in Topsham to reflect the love this father, grandfather and great grandfather had for his garden and nature. A pleasure to work with Peter Frank Turl FD again.
