💧Hot Tub Chemical Testing & Cleaning Training Delivered Today💧

A great session completed today with teams from Haulfryn Delamere Holiday Park - learning how to properly test, balance and maintain hot-tub water in line with industry best practice.

We covered:

🧪 Accurate chemical testing techniques
📊 Understanding results & correcting imbalances
🚿 Full cleaning, purge and refill procedures
⚠️ Common issues (cloudy water, foaming, odours) and how to prevent them
📘 PWTAG-aligned safety checks and record-keeping

Fantastic engagement from everyone, and brilliant to see participants growing in confidence with practical testing and safe handling of chemicals.

These skills are essential for guest safety, compliance and reducing downtime — and the team absolutely nailed it.

Today we have been at the incredible Tonbridge School mentoring a Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK First Aid PTA for their first EFAW course.

We have just finished delivering some water testing and hot tub cleaning training at Hayling Island Holiday Park for their staff to ensure they are up to date and ready for the new season!

This includes strict cleaning and disinfection routine to ensure every hot tub meets industry-standard hygiene levels - areas such as full drain-downs, surface sanitisation, filter cleaning, refill and balancing to PWTAG-recommended levels before each use.

We have just finished re-assessing a batch of Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK National Pool Lifeguards after some further additional training.

Well done to them as they are now passed and able to continue their lifeguarding careers!

We have just finished delivering another STA Emergency First Aid at Work at Chipping Sodbury Golf Club!

Fabulous bunch of staff who really got stuck in and asked all those important questions that we are well equipped to answer with our pre-hospital care trained staff!

We have begun the Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK National Vocational Beach Lifeguarding Qualification this evening with Dawlish Warren Life Saving Club where we are mentoring Alex who is undertaking his LG9 course delivery.

Good luck to all 4 x candidates over tonight and tomorrow for their Beach Lifeguard assessment.

We have just finished our 3-day STA PWTAG approved Swimming Pool Technical Operator course at Freshwater Beach Holiday Park!

A great 3 days covering water, pollution, balance tanks, breakpoint chlorination as well as filters, UV systems and much more!
