🌱 From frogspawn flashbacks to a breakfast I crave 💛
I’ll be honest — I used to hate chia pudding. It reminded me of those weird “frogspawn” school dinners… bland, gloopy, and just why?
But over time, I’ve found a way to turn it into something I genuinely love. Now, it’s my go-to summer breakfast — easy, filling, and actually delicious.
✨ I make mine with kefir (instead of milk — game changer), a little cacao for a hit of all important minerals and delicious richness, and I top it with a mix of berries, nuts, and seeds. It’s crunchy, creamy, full of flavour, packed with fibre + protein… and yes, even joyful-I mean I am literally so happy when I’m eating this!!
And the best part? My 10-year-old loves making it too. 🙌
Finding healthy food that actually tastes good (and doesn’t feel like a punishment) is such a big part of building long-term habits — especially if, like me, you grew up on cereal aisle classics.
💬 Have you ever had a food ick you’ve managed to turn around?

Nature reminds us to slow down. Watching these swans and their signets glide by-calm, connected, and completely in the moment-was a beautiful nudge to do the same in our daily lives. Health is more than food and fitness-it’s peace, presence, and patience.

Regardless of which constitution you tend to lean towards, Autumn weather can bring an excess of Vata, the dosha of Air. We've certainly felt that changeable, wet, windy weather this weekend here in Exeter! Those out there that are more creative, spontaneous, with cold dry bodies can struggle even more. Have you ever thought that your lifestyle and what you eat effects how you cope? To help balance your body lean into more nourishing, comforting foods like soups, stews & casseroles at this time of year and reduce those cold raw foods that were so good during the summer months. Abhyanga, or oil massage, is wonderful at this time of year for bringing more of that nourishment to the skin. If you'd like to explore the benefit of an Ayurvedic Massage and learn more about balancing with foods and lifestyles book an appointment! Feel the benefit connection and touch can make to your life. Nourishment from your nose to your toes!
