When we lie down in savasana at the end of a Kundalini practice. It’s the space where the subtle changes we have created are allowed to settle and integrate.

In savasana we stop doing and begin receiving. Healing, recalibration and balance begin when we give ourselves the time to be still, to surrender and allow.

This is why the relaxation is long, why it feels expansive. It is the moment when practice transforms into presence, when the energy of the kriya can complete its work within you.

The mindset of curiosity and learning.

Many of you may have set resolutions, goals, intentions. And some of you may already feel them slipping away. That’s not failure. That’s learning. When you stumble, you gain awareness. When you fall, you learn how to stand. Growth doesn’t come from perfection; it comes from courage. The courage to begin again, and again, and again.

This week in class, we will explore the gift of experience. Through the practice of Kundalini Yoga, we will awaken the wisdom to learn from every step we take. We will breathe deeply into the spaces of our growth, move our bodies to release the old patterns and meditate to embrace the infinite capacity within us.

Every breath is a fresh start. Every moment is a doorway to transformation. Show up not to be perfect, but to be present.

Going with the flow.

When we stop being triggered by external events, we unlock a profound sense of contentment and inner peace. By anchoring our well-being within ourselves rather than in ever-shifting external circumstances, we create a foundation of stability that is both liberating and empowering.

In Kundalini Yoga, this is a journey of cultivating neutrality, often called the neutral mind - a mental space where we observe events without immediate reaction, allowing us to respond thoughtfully rather than impulsively. This approach helps us engage with life from a place of balance and clarity, embracing each moment with acceptance rather than resistance.

This week we continue the series on removing blocks to happiness. Remember, happiness is a state, not a trait. Trying to be happy all the time can have the reverse effect! Instead remove the obstacles and make the right choices that lead to a more fulfilling life and ultimately, contentment 🙏

As we begin to move into the next season I wanted to have a brief look back at the time spent at the Gone Wild Festivals in Norfolk and Devon. So much gratitude to for their invitation, immense planning and ability to make anyone feel welcome. They brought together the most amazing group of practitioners, teachers and volunteers who had the one goal of giving their time and energy to every visitor.

The experience was elevating for all and brought the best out in everyone. I look forward to the next time we get together 🙂🙏🎪
