Optometrist and business owner Sophie says:
“No two days are ever the same in my role as an optometrist! My job means I get to meet new people everyday, and I enjoy problem solving to help them with their specific visual needs. Across healthcare the advances in medical imaging are amazing, with optometry being no different. I am passionate about learning the latest technology and diagnostic techniques to allow us to see more and detect diseases earlier. I also love the fashion side of my role. When you wear spectacles they are such a big part of your personality and can be the ultimate fashion accessory. I really enjoy working to find the perfect pair of glasses for my patients and encourage them to have fun with their frames. Life is too short for boring glasses!”
