A women’s day of nourishment, fire & restoration

Held under the Full Moon in Libra, this all-day ritual is devoted to self-love, balance, and releasing what no longer belongs to you.

Set within a beautiful private manor house in Budleigh Salterton, this retreat is held away from the outside world — surrounded by stillness, privacy, and nature. A space to exhale fully, knowing you are held, unhurried, and undisturbed.

Hosted by Leah Johns, The Edgy Therapist — Reiki Master Teacher, and Maria — Holistic Therapist and space holder, this day is designed to gently guide you back into balance through ritual, rest, and nourishment.

• Arrival with fresh fruit and herbal teas, allowing you to land gently in the space

• No awkward introductions or pressured sharing — this day is intentionally grounded, so you don’t arrive feeling nervous or exposed before you’ve even begun

• Oracle-led journalling, reflecting on the parts of yourself that are asking for attention, healing, or deeper understanding

• A fire ritual with Reiki drumming, offering what no longer serves you into the fire

• A Full Moon sound bath, supporting deep nervous system regulation and energetic integration

• A plant-based buffet lunch, creating your own Buddha bowl with intention — lovingly blessed with Reiki energy by both hosts

• Spacious time to rest and soften with full use of the sauna and hot tub

• A mini treatment with either host:
– Thai stretching
– Indian head massage

• A closing gratitude circle, grounding the day by honouring what you are grateful for — including simply giving yourself this time

Today was my very F I R S T Mother’s Day with Paisley- Sage. 🌸

Holding my daughter today, I kept thinking about how long I dreamed of this moment — becoming a mum and celebrating Mother’s Day with her here in my arms. Thank you for choosing me to be your mum. I thank you every single day.

But today held another really special moment too.

For years and years I’ve tried to get my mum to come out for dinner on Mother’s Day. Her anxiety has always made it too overwhelming, and every year it’s ended in a cancellation or a “maybe next time.”

This year I booked the table again.

And my mum did cancel.

But instead of leaving it there, I gently encouraged her again. I reminded her she could do it, that she didn’t have to let the anxiety win today. I re-empowered her to come.

And she did.

My nan came along too, and suddenly we had four generations of women sitting together around one table — something that almost never happens in our family.

I’m so proud of my mum. What might look small to others was actually something incredibly brave for her.

So today I celebrated my first Mother’s Day with my daughter… while also watching my own mum push through something really hard.

Four generations.
Four different journeys of motherhood.
One really meaningful Mother’s Day.

And today I’m also thinking of all the different kinds of mothers and journeys out there.

Happy Mother’s Day to those grieving the loss of a mum or a child…
to the women longing to become mothers…
to the mums navigating complicated family relationships…
to the step-mums, bonus mums and foster mums…
to the animal mums caring for their little souls…
and to the women who mother others through love, guidance and care.

Motherhood comes in many forms, and today I see you all. 🤍

Sometimes the K I N D E S T surprises are the reviews you didn’t even have to ask for. 🤍

This beautiful review was left after a treatment yesterday. My client is 29 weeks pregnant and came in for some time to relax, unwind and be looked after for a few hours.
