More Positive Me CIC Empowerment After Domestic Abuse & J9 Domestic Abuse Initiative safe spaces to access resources Professionals, care workers & support workers.

* We support people impacted by domestic abuse gain knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse and its intricacies, enabling them to make sense of what happened and move forward with their lives.
* We empower people on their journey to heal and get their lives back on track. Supporting their growth, confidence and self-belief.
* Either through face to face courses across Devon or eLearning

and workbooks available to anyone across the UK.
* We also offer License and training to organisations embracing trauma recovery. We work with:-
People over the age of 18 who grew up in a household with domestic abuse. People who have been in abusive relationships,
People who have been abused by a family member. People who have found themselves in a supporting role either as a family member, concerned friend or colleague. Local businesses, organisations & communities around awareness raising. Domestic abuse organisations. ✨CoLab Men's Group✨

Our Men’s Group runs every Tuesday from 2–4pm here at Colab in the atrium, with the Urban Learning Academy.

It’s a space to step away from the day-to-day, connect with others, and take a bit of time for yourself.

Activities can include talking any challenges in lives, receiving peer support, Meccano building, board games, creative arts and more!

We had a fabulous Cricut workshop at Hobbycraft with the very knowledgeable and friendly Molly, who helped us to make this totally amazing mug! So clever! Thank you Hobbycraft! It was only short, but we came away totally inspired. What small snippet of time can you make to do something different for yourself next week?
