We're delighted that Tesco and Pampers have partnered to give free nappies to parents of premature babies.

Around 60% of twin pregnancies result in birth before 37 weeks (spontaneous or induced) and around 75% of triplet pregnancies before 35 weeks.

The nappies are available from all Tesco Pharmacies.

👶 Have you had a baby around 34 weeks or later?
🏥 Did your baby need extra care after birth from the neonatal team?
⏰ Were they cared for on the postnatal ward or in a neonatal unit for a short period?

💛 If yes then we would love your input 💛
We’re creating a Transitional Care Unit (TC) to support babies who need a little extra help after birth, so they can stay with their parents on the postnatal ward instead of going to the neonatal unit.
If your baby was born around 34 weeks or later and needed extra care, we’d love to hear from you. Please take our short survey and share your experience – your feedback is really important and will help us design the best service for families.

Thank you 🫶

May 15th is Kangaroo Care Awareness Day, and we're thinking about how we can best help families feel close and connected during their baby's time in the Neonatal or Transitional Care Unit.

Across the South West, units are part of the South West Cuddle Bundle—a project aimed at giving more opportunity for parents to cuddle and feel close to their babies. We want to know if this is helping. So, we would really like to hear from you.

Please take a few minutes to answer some short questions. Your feedback will help us improve care and support for you, your baby and future families.

The survey is private and takes about 10 minutes - thank you!
