It is essential to work within my client's limits. Remember, you are here for a massage, not for punishment! However, deep and effective remedial massage may not always feel pleasant. If you are already in pain, applying pressure to relieve muscle tension can sometimes be uncomfortable. Unfortunately, this discomfort can be an unavoidable step in breaking the cycle of tension, allowing you to regain mobility, improve your posture, and feel better over time with each treatment. For most people, this initial discomfort during the session is worth it; by the third session, many clients can relax into the experience and enjoy the immediate relief. There is a happy medium to be found, and with your help, we can find it.
