Counselling is a process where you can explore anything that is causing you distress, discomfort or confusion. Life can be very challenging and overwhelming. Sometimes you need a break from daily distractions and responsibilities, a space that is just for you, to share how you feel and what you think, in a safe environment. Counselling is confidential and is dedicated entirely to you and your wel
lbeing. I work with many areas of hurt and confusion including depression, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, gender identity, loss, anger, loneliness and self-esteem, to name just a few. I offer a supportive, safe and confidential space to talk through your experiences. I work with the Person-Centred model, which means my approach is non-directive, sessions are led by you and we go at your pace. I won’t tell you what to do or offer 'advice', you are your own expert and my role is to empower you to discover whatever it is you may be seeking, by getting alongside you on your journey and helping you explore your world, to find clarity, understanding or solution. I have extensive experience working with eating disorders and self-injury and can offer Radically Open Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (RO-DBT) alongside Person Centred counselling. I also have specialist training and experience working with gender identity and can provide support for those experiencing gender incongruence/ questioning, or their loved ones. MY QUALIFICATIONS:
