I REGUARLY COACH PEOPLE IN THIER 40'S AND 50'S WHO ARE THE FITTEST AND STRONGEST THEY HAVE EVER BEEN....
Age is just a number and sport is proving it more than ever.
20 years ago, being over 35 in elite sport was almost seen as retirement territory. Fast forward to today, and athletes are rewriting the rule book on longevity.
🏉 Ma’a Nonu (43) just became the oldest try-scorer in Top 14 history. Still competing, still delivering.
🥊 Oleksandr Usyk (37) unified heavyweight boxing champion, unbeaten, defying the age curve with speed, reflexes, and tactical brilliance.
🥊 Terence Crawford (36) putting on masterclass after masterclass, reminding everyone why he’s pound-for-pound elite.
🏈 Tom Brady played in the NFL until 45 years old, 7× Super Bowl Champion, 3× MVP, and arguably left the game at the very top.
⚽️ Cristiano Ronaldo (39) and Lionel Messi (37) still influencing games at the highest levels, scoring, assisting, and leading their teams.
🎾 Serena Williams (won the Australian Open at 35 while pregnant) and Novak Djokovic (37) redefining peak performance in tennis.
The evidence is clear: with smarter recovery, nutrition, training science, and most importantly daily consistency with the small variables… age doesn’t have to define decline.
We can invest in our bodies and minds to be in our prime well into our late 30s, 40s, and beyond.
It’s no longer about how old you are, it’s about how well you live (with a little luck thrown in) BUT USUALLY THE HARDER YOU WORK, THE LUCKIER YOU GET!
