On International Women’s Day, we celebrate the incredible women who care, support, lead, and inspire us all! 💜 A heartfelt shoutout to our dedicated colleagues and the amazing women we proudly support in our homes and services. Thank you for everything you do!

🐾 We had a special visitor last Sunday, Milka, our lovely therapy dog 💚

Milka spent time with residents across the home, offering cuddles, companionship and plenty of smiles. Her visit brought comfort, happy memories and moments of calm connection for everyone she met.

Animal‑assisted therapy can have many benefits in care settings, including boosting mood, reducing anxiety, encouraging social interaction and supporting emotional wellbeing.

It was heart‑warming to see the joy Milka brought to our residents, and we’re already looking forward to her next visit 🐾💚

What a wonderful week it’s been here at Green Tree Court! 💚

We kicked things off last Monday with a chocolate tasting activity, which was a huge hit 🍫

The lounge was buzzing as residents enjoyed a lively game of Boules, filling the room with laughter and friendly competition.

We also made the most of the sunshine, spending some peaceful time out on the balcony, soaking up the fresh air ☀️

There was plenty of fun to be had on the Magic Table, followed by getting creative in the kitchen as we made custard and fruit tarts together – delicious results! 🥧

We were delighted to welcome Graeme, who came in to sing for us and brought the whole home together with music and song 🎶

The week wrapped up with relaxed games and puzzles, perfect for winding down and enjoying each other’s company.

It's been another fun-packed week at Green Tree Court!

As well as our ever-popular flower arranging session and bingo games, we enjoyed some hilariously competitive balloon tennis, enjoyed some beautiful live music courtesy of Luca the harpist, and helped our lovely June's celebrate her 94th birthday!

What a lovely week that was - full of activities influenced and enjoyed by our residents 😊

❤️ Love was in the air as we decorated the home for Valentine's Day with flowers and heart-shaped balloons, and enjoyed some themed colouring activities
✨ We whiled away rainy days by exploring the world, discovering wildlife and playing games on the interactive LED Magic Table
🎤 We were entertained by visiting singer, Chris, whose performance looked so much fun that we couldn't resist joining in!
🎱 And of course, there was a very competitive game of bingo!
