Mpox hasn't gone away. While anyone can get mpox, most UK cases are in men who have had close s*xual contact with other men. A free vaccine is available, yet many people haven't had it. The vaccine protects against mpox and reduces your chances of becoming severely unwell if you do catch it.

If you're eligible, the mpox jab is now available routinely as part of your s*xual healthcare alongside STI and HIV testing, screening and other vaccines. It’s one of the best ways to protect yourself. Ask at our clinics or call 111 for more information.

Around 1 in 4 young people in the South West are leaving school without protection from HPV.
HPV is a common virus that's spread through skin contact (usually when having s*x).
If you've missed your vaccination at school, there is still time to catch up before your 25th birthday.
Check with your GP surgery or local s*xual health clinic for more info.

Syphilis is on the rise. Syphilis is a s*xually transmitted infection, that is easily treated but may cause serious health problems if left untreated.
It can affect anyone, and you can get it through direct contact with someone who has syphilis though:
🔵 s*x without condoms
🔵 kissing
🔵 sharing s*x toys
Many people with syphilis don't have symptoms, so if you have change s*xual partners, or have multiple partners, it's best to test to check whether you need treatment or not.
STI testing is free and confidential from s*xual health services. call our clinics today on 0300 303 3989 or order an online self-testing kit via you Personal Health Record.
See our website for details.
