We are sharing a slightly different story of success in our post today, from one of our members:

"A huge thank you to Barbara Scott 💜

After completing my course, I knew I wanted to support women with menstrual health challenges.

A 30-year-old woman who had previously experienced breast cancer came to me, hoping her periods would return.

After 7 sessions, she’s now had 3 cycles — her most recent just 29 days apart. Her oncologist is amazed at how quickly her cycle returned 🙏🏻✨".

Proof that Reproductive Reflexology can help support women in many different ways. Well done to our member and we are delighted you were able to help your client.

If you would like to learn how to help women with their cycle using reflexology visit our website and choose "Seren" from the menu to find out more about our face to face and online training courses for Reproductive Reflexology.

Learn how to support women through the stage of the menopause cycle.

Online, Monday 9th February 2026 with Barbara Scott 09:30 am to 5pm.

The course includes:

Introduction, menopause, peri menopause, diagnosis of the menopause, symptoms and how to treat them, affects on mood and wellbeing, long term symptoms, medical treatment and Reproflexology techniques.

The last 2 hours of the day will be practical work. For this you can either observe, or use a pair of model feet (or a paper diagram) that you draw on. Ideally, you would have a 'live human', male or female that you can work on and who doesn't mind having their feet drawn on!

There will be a one hour catch up session provided post course for any questions you may have.

Reproductive Reflexologists, use an evidence-based approach.

Which means that our trained reflexologists use medical tests to help them determine where the underlying issues may be. This information is used to plan effective and appropriate treatment.

Using the Reproflexology™ system looks at the whole person, their lifestyle, nutrition, cycle, stress levels and more.

Medical testing may include relevant blood tests and semen analysis. Members also use repeat testing to help them measure ongoing progress.

Using a forensic approach to bring together all of the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle to find the ‘Aha’ moment, is one of the things our members feel makes their job worthwhile.

Of course the best feeling is when the get a positive result for mum's and dad's to be!

We build relationships with key partners in the fertility space to help our Mums and Dads to be.

One of those partners is XY Fertility. Due to our collaboration with them we can offer our families a home male fertility analysis kit for postal testing. So our Dads to be can be in the comfort of their own home.

Our members of the association of reproductive reflexologists can help you with this, please reach out to them for more information.

The Fertility Show are conducting a "The Big Fertility Survey" and we fully support this.

They say:

Infertility affects 1 in 6 people - yet it’s still something many find hard to talk about.

We want to change that.

This survey explores how people understand fertility, the emotional and practical challenges of the experience, and how society - and workplaces - can do better.

Your experiences will help shape national conversations, policy recommendations, and future events at The Fertility Show and Let’s All Talk Fertility.

All answers are anonymous, and the survey takes around 5–7 minutes.

When it comes to fertility and creating life it takes two!

We offer reflexology to men, to support fertility. In addition, there are a few alterations to diet and lifestyle that we know from research are recommended.

Remember, these do not have to be forever, it is just whilst you are trying to conceive:

✅ Reduce alcohol to no more than 4 units a week, not beer, preferably red wine.
✅ Eliminate Caffeine. Remember this is in tea, coffee, chocolate, fizzy drinks.
✅ Increase vegetable and fruit intake to 5 portions a day, preferably organic.
✅ Reduce intake of red meat, increase intake of fish and poultry, again organic where possible.
✅Wear loose fitting trousers and underpants to keep the testicles cool. They should be 2 degrees cooler than body temperature. S***m don’t like heat, it can cause morphology issues.
✅ No intensive muscle building exercise, as testosterone can be diverted to muscle building rather than s***m production, and you could end up with a lowered count.
✅ Absolutely no smoking or drug taking! Both of these have a very damaging effect upon s***m.

All that you ingest or are exposed to can effect not only the s***m production and formation, but also the DNA. Poor s***m DNA can lead to conception difficulties and repeated miscarriage.

What do our students of the Reproflexology™ course, led by Barbara Scott, learn?

"I learned more about the reproductive system in a wonderful intensive 3 days with Barbara Scott in September, than in the previous 50 years of my life. Not in school, not during my own fertility journey, but in 3 eye opening days. And I am still learning through my case studies and through the experiences of family and friends, and through my present journey into menopause. Your reproductive system health impacts your whole life, whether or not you hope to have children. I am excited to be a student member of this wonderful organisation and to offer more informed support to my reflexology clients."

Barbara is running a 3-day online course at the end of January Wednesday 28th November to Friday 30th January, 09:30 am to 5pm every day. You can sign up via our website; https://reproductivereflexologists.org/seren-training-schedule/

Still unsure about reproductive reflexology? You're not alone.

Many mums, and hopeful parents, come to us feeling sceptical. They’ve heard about reproductive reflexology through a friend, an article, or even a healthcare provider, but they’re not convinced it could really help.

And that’s okay. Scepticism is completely valid.

What most people don’t realise is that reproductive reflexology is far more than a relaxing foot treatment. Our trained practitioners are deeply knowledgeable in the complexities of both female and male reproductive health. They may suggest fertility-related tests, guide you in tracking your temperature, and support changes in lifestyle, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.

Because fertility is never just about one thing. It’s a whole-body, whole-couple journey.

We’ve supported people with PCOS, endometriosis, and those going through IVF or assisted conception. Some have been told they may never conceive, and yet they have gone on to have success stories of their own.

We see your frustration. We honour your sadness. And we’re here to support you with compassion, science-based care and hope.

Want to find someone who understands the full picture? You can connect with a local reproductive reflexologist via our website.
