✦ C L I N I C U P D A T E ✦

A message from Sara for all our wonderful patients at the Exeter Acupuncture Project:

For those who don’t know, I am both an assignment marker and member of the management board at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine (CICM). After a recent vote by the college’s council, I have been invited to become a Director at the college, too, from the 1st of December. This is a really exciting opportunity for me and not one that I had expected to arrive for many more years!

It means that my commitments with the college are going to grow, which means that moving forward, sadly, I will no longer be able to come to the Exeter Acupuncture Project weekly. I am keen to remain a ‘close friend and practitioner’ of the clinic, though!

We have invited Kat to join the team here. Kat, like myself, studied at CICM so we practice a similar style of acupuncture. In the coming weeks you’ll see her pop in and out getting to know the space and it’s lovely patients and eventually, Kat will treat patients 3 weeks a month and I will be there for 1, I’ll also be around to cover Sam and Kat on holidays, illness etc.

I love my time at the Exeter Acupuncture Project and it is a cause very near and dear to my heart so I am keen to stay close in any way that I can.

I look forward to seeing you all Wednesday (like I always do!)

Sara is off to India in January 2025! She'll be part of a team of six acupuncturists travelling to a rural part of Gujarat, India where World Medicine have had an on-going project since 2010. They will be spending three weeks there to offer acupuncture treatments to hundreds of people in need of care.

She is seeking donations in support of: flights, immunisations and of course, further support for World Medicine - any donation big or small will be greatly appreciated!
