Our Clinic Community Challenge 🌿
Put a spring into your step in March...

We’re inviting you to join us for a simple, feel-good challenge throughout March. No pressure or fancy rules. Just movement.

Choose your challenge:
👣 8,000 steps per day
👣 10,000 steps per day
👣 12,000 steps per day

The idea is that you pick the number that feels like a stretch but still doable, and commit to it for the month. Count your own steps and let us know how you get on at the end.

To get involved, contact us via email, in person at the clinic, or comment on this post. We’ll be accepting applicants until Friday, 6th March.

There will be a small token gift waiting for everyone who completes the challenge 🎁

More info and little nudges of encouragement coming soon. Let’s get moving!

Thank you, Harriet🙏

At Elemental, before any treatment, we carry out a thorough assessment to understand 'you' properly. Your history, your movement, your goals. That way, the care you receive is safe, effective, and tailored specifically to your body and your needs.

If you’re curious about what the full journey looks like, take a look at our 'Chiropractic Care' post, where we walk through each stage of the process.

We really value the feedback we receive from our patients at Elemental.

Stories like this show how chiropractic care can support people living with long-term health challenges. By helping the body function at its best and supporting the nervous system, chiropractic care can be a positive step towards feeling stronger, more balanced, and more in control of your health.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Shannon.

At Elemental, this is what a ‘typical’ course of care might look like.

Initial consultation/ assessment:
This is where we take the time to understand you and what is going on.
We explore:
• Your health history
• Current concerns
• Lifestyle and goals
A thorough assessment is carried out, including posture, movement, neurological and orthopaedic testing where appropriate.

Follow up/ report findings:
This is where we explain what we have found in a straightforward, logical way, answer your questions, and outline your recommended plan of care.
You will understand:
• What is contributing to your symptoms
• What we can realistically aim to improve
• The proposed frequency and duration of care
• Any exercises or lifestyle support that may help
Together, we then agree on the next steps.

Care phase:
Standard adjustments for your course of care begin.
During your adjustment visits, we focus on improving movement, reducing tension and supporting your nervous system. Throughout your care, you will receive ongoing feedback from Silas. We track your progress, reassess when needed, and check in regularly on how you are feeling and functioning. Care evolves as you do.

Review visit:
At the end of the initial phase of care, we pause to reflect and reassess.
We repeat key measures, review your progress, and evaluate how your body has responded.
From here, we decide together whether to:
• Conclude care
• Continue with a new goal
• Transition to supportive or maintenance care
The aim is always clarity, progress and informed choice.

You may have heard of scoliosis as “a curve in the spine”, but there is a bit more to it than that.

Scoliosis is a three-dimensional change in the shape of the spine. This means the spine doesn’t just curve sideways; it also twists, changing how weight and movement are distributed throughout the body. Because the spine plays such a central role in movement, balance and nervous system regulation, these changes can affect how the whole body functions.

From a Chiropractic perspective, care for scoliosis isn’t so much about “straightening” the spine. Instead, the focus is on helping the spine and nervous system work as efficiently as possible within the shape that’s there. Reducing the effects of years of compensation and restoring the spine's adaptability.

Something we test on everyone in clinic, is weight distribution. Plus advising our patients on distributing the weight as evenly as possible through their feet is a great tip for reducing occurrence of back and hip pain.
