Getting out into nature can have many benefits to children and parents alike. It can also be a great way to support children's speech and language development. Going on a listening walk can help develop their attention and listening skills and their early sound awareness skills. Getting out and about can also be a great way to introduce new vocabulary. What new words could you introduce to your little one when out and about? Remember, repetition is key when introducing new words.

My name is Ceris. I am an experienced, independent speech and language therapist providing support for children with a wide range of speech and communication difficulties.

I'm passionate about supporting children and their families, helping then to reach their full potential.

I offer assessment, reports, therapy and reviews for children and young people aged 0 to 18 years. I can also provide training for staff in schools, nurseries and other educational settings.
