Baby Loss Awareness Week, 9th - 15th October

Join a on 15th October by lighting a candle at 7pm and leaving it burning for at least one hour to remember all the babies who have died too soon. The global ‘Wave of Light’ is held in memory of all the babies who lit up our lives for such a short time.

OCD Awareness Week, 12th - 18th October

OCD Awareness Week aims to break the stigma around Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. This disorder affects 1 in 50 people in the UK and can become all-encompassing, causing huge stress to sufferers and their families and friends. With the right support, OCD can be managed. If you’re worried, reach out to a healthcare professional.

Amazing turn out today for our flu clinic and cake sale raising money for Children’s Hospice Southwest. Massive thank you to our staff who took time making some amazing cakes and bakes. We’ve yet to count up our donations but when we have we will share this.
Also a huge thank you to our patient group members for selling raffle tickets. Tickets are still for sale and we are drawing towards the end of November.

Please see the below information for the Wednesday morning CATCH group with the Esteem Team.

CATCH (Coffee and Tea, Chat and Help) is a free social and peer support group for any parents and carers of children in Devon who have (or may have) SEND* (including mental health difficulties). No diagnosis is needed to attend.

At CATCH sessions, Esteem's Family Support Workers can:

Offer short 1:1 conversations within the group to support parents wherever they are in their journey
Provide short 1:1 admin support within group to complete forms and paperwork for their children
Give emotional support
Share ad-hoc parenting support based on topics raised in discussion
Signpost or refer to other supportive agencies as needed
