NUTION SESSION 2
Hello Everyone,
π Grocery Shopping
How are you getting on with your grocery shopping? Are you meal planning and matching your meal plans to your grocery shops?
π Are you venturing down new aisles and putting more whole foods in your basket like fruit and vegetables of various different colours?
π Are you choosing lean cuts of meat like chicken, Turkey, 5% beef mince and fish instead of processed meats like sausages, bacon and ham?
π Are you buying more wholegrain foods like oats, quinoa, brown rice, wholegrain breads and pasta?
π Have you added nuts, seeds, live natural yoghurt and beans, lentils and chickpeas to your grocery shops?
Easy ways to eat more fruit and vegetables:
π Buy frozen mix berries and defrost the amount you need overnight to mix with porridge in the morning.
π Have a salad or soup for lunch instead of a sandwich. Add plenty of lean protein like chicken/beans/lentils/chickpeas to keep you fuller for longer.
π Make more casseroles or stews with lots of vegetables.
