Doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun?

February marks 5 years since Dr Jasmine Smith joined the practice. She’s very quickly become a firm favourite with our clients, with her soft touch and extensive knowledge proving a delightfully reassuring combination.

We’re so very pleased she’s reached this landmark, and can’t wait to see what the next 5 years have in store!

Keval was delighted to be invited to the SPOKE Commitee (Sector Partnership for Optical Knowledge & Education) meeting in Warwick at the start of the week, collaborating with the great and the good of the Optometry & Ophthalmic Dispensing professions to help write policy that will shape the future of education and the wider sector.

From discussions around the integration of AI in optometry to designing opportunities that encourage life-long learning, it truly was an “eye opener”!

🎄 With only two weeks to go until the big day, it’s probably time we let you know our plans for Christmas opening!

👁️ We’ll be here to look after you until 5pm on Tuesday 23rd, before we all take a break to spend time with family and rest up, ready to hit the ground running in the New Year.

📆 Note: Last orders for most contact lenses need to be in by Tuesday 16th if they’re to arrive before Xmas. We’re already on the cusp for specs, but certainly anything ordered from Monday 15th onwards is likely to be ready in January (unless it’s a lens type we can offer with our Express service).

Yesterday, Sarah & Keval spent an enjoyable evening with local colleagues learning about the latest developments in local pathways for cataract surgery and AMD treatment. Organised by devonloc18, and with very articulate talks from both Mr Neil Bowley and Mr Harry Roberts, it was a very enlightening session indeed.
