Life may not always go to plan so when the pandemic hit it had huge impact on peoples mental health and lives, since the start along with our normal work we have volunteered over 600 hours of our time so far in our local community to help vulnerable people get through this pandemic so no one gets left struggling behind whether it be collecting meds for those shielding or checking in with people so they have someone to talk to πŸ’»πŸ“±β˜ŽοΈ, we've been there πŸ™‚ , we can get through this together πŸ’ͺπŸ™‚

Su***de is at its highest for 2 decades🀯 it' doesn't have to end this way 😒

We know ever day, it can be hard, it can be painful, it's not easy and it can be a challenge but you don't have to "man up!" or " grow a pair " and every day is OK not to be ok, you don't have to hide anymore or put on a brave smile ,you can be emotional, you can be angry, you can let it all out and you don't need to suffer alone.
You are yourself unique and that what makes you.... You πŸ˜‰
So be kind to yourself, Don't be afraid to reach out, don't be afraid to ask for help when you need.let others support you πŸ™‚
You got this πŸ‘πŸ’ͺ, let's look forward to the next day, a better day, a day you can be yourself one day at a time to a brighter future, you deserve to be here and happy so let's open up one small step at a time πŸ™‚

We've been more busy than ever continuing to help people get back on track, we believe there has never been a more important and crucial time to help people with mental health towards getting back towards normality and having a better quility of life one small step at a time.
We still have regularly Covid testing in place and have had all our vaccinations so we can continue working in a Covid secure way :-)

29/12/2020

If we've been a bit quiet on here well we have been flat out making sure that those with mental health are not alone through this Christmas and New Year.
It can be hard enough in a normal year, often isolated, suffering in silence or putting a smile on even though inside is a dark place.
Next year will still be a challenge but it is looking more brighter and we continue to give all the support, help and therapy to people in need in a Covid secure way through these tough times and help the light grow bigger one step at a time.

Covid-19 update
Things can soon go ∩dsᴉpǝpoʍu & completely etisoppO

We are continuing support people in a way we're not use to so we have had to adapt whilst keeping within strict government guidelines and lockdown

We continue to update clients about Covid -19 and how they can protect themselves but in ways that will not cause unessesary stress and anxiety

We love social interaction so social distancing is something we haven't been use to before Covid-19 but we have to do it to protect everyone and make sure our clients are aware even during visits ,2 meters apart at all times ,plenty of hand washing and other protective measures in place

Normally we support people to not be isolated
We are now supporting our clients to be at home as much as possible for thier own safety , if they need to go for a walk and fresh air we will support them but staying socially distanced from everyone
Were still promoting independence and wellbeing which is essential during this time through technology and teaching them how to use technology to there advantage.
Our client's have been learning new things they didn't even know online and enrolling on short courses that are available

We ensured all our clients can be connected with loved ones and friends online and are signed up to online shopping ,delivery services etc so they are still able to get the things they need wherever possible ,if they can't we will endeavor to make sure they have the essential shopping they need to get by
We continue to promote hobbies, arts and crafts ,baking ,games and much more indoor activities which are important to maintain good wellbeing

Even now we still continue to support those in need in our community

As a family

*Taking the time to talk with your child or teen about COVID-19 Additionally, you should answer questions and share facts about COVID-19 in a way that your child can understand.

*Limit your family’s exposure to news coverage of the event, including social media. Children may misinterpret what they hear and can be frightened about something they do not understand.
