Today’s all about celebrating you but not just for your birthday, but for everything you do for me, our clients, and Exe Aesthetics. 💛

Over the last few months, while I’ve been deep in the trenches of pregnancy, you’ve single-handedly managed Exe Aesthetics. Keeping everything running smoothly, supporting our clients, and somehow doing it all with your usual calm and loveliness.

🎓✨ Three years ago, Kara graduated with her Postgraduate Diploma in District Nursing. This was an intensive two year apprenticeship completed alongside her role as a registered nurse in the NHS.

As part of this course, she achieved her V300 Non Medical Prescribing qualification. Non medical prescribing simply means that specially trained healthcare professionals who are not doctors such as nurses, pharmacists and physiotherapists are legally able to prescribe medicines. This qualification is essential for prescribing in practice.

It has enabled Kara to carry out comprehensive consultations, perform advanced clinical assessments and prescribe safely and effectively.

In aesthetics, prescribing is a vital part of safe practice. As registered nurses, we are governed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council, and it is a requirement that all prescribers meet clients face to face to assess them before issuing any prescription.

💉 This ensures every treatment is safe, ethical and tailored, protecting clients and upholding the highest standards of care.

It’s been a little quiet on here… but life has been anything but quiet behind the scenes! Between us we’ve been juggling 2 husbands, 6 children, 2 dogs, 3 jobs, holidays, bathroom renovations and a fair few beautiful weddings.

We’ve been leaning into the chaos, soaking up precious family time, and embracing the madness that comes with it all.

Although socials have been quiet, we haven’t stopped. We have loved continuing to see our wonderful clients over the summer; we’re always here for you ✨💉

Our lovely client had previously received lip filler elsewhere but visited me looking to add a little more volume. She wasn’t entirely sure what she wanted this time, so she placed her trust in me to guide the process. I took care to respect her natural anatomy and maintain overall facial harmony.

She already had a beautiful lip shape to work with, so we focused on refining subtle asymmetries, increasing volume, and enhancing definition. We took a slow and thoughtful approach, adding small, strategic amounts of dermal filler to achieve a refined and balanced enhancement.

Her new lips have not only added volume and shape but have also beautifully accentuated the rest of her features, enhancing her natural balance and proportion.

She is now fully healed and extremely happy with her results, describing the experience as very positive and commenting on how gentle the treatment felt.

Every lip journey is unique, and it is always a privilege to support clients in feeling confident and comfortable in their appearance.

Before and After: Subtle Lip Enhancement Ahead of Juliet’s Wedding 👰🏽‍♀️✨

Juliet visited the clinic four weeks before her wedding, seeking a natural and balanced lip enhancement. She had always felt self-conscious about her upper lip, which tended to disappear when she smiled, but she wanted to maintain her natural shape while subtly improving symmetry and adding soft volume.

With under 1ml of dermal filler, we achieved a refined result that beautifully enhanced both her front and side profiles. The difference a small amount of product can make is truly remarkable.

Initially, Juliet requested that we only capture her lips in the photos due to concerns about showing her full face. However, once she saw the results, she was so pleased with the outcome that her confidence noticeably grew. She kindly consented to share these before and after images.
