Wonderful Wednesdays just keep getting better!Today we were thrilled to welcome Ryan to our happy group. Our creative crew spent the morning painting pumpkins for our Halloween bunting, adding even more pom poms to our ever-growing collection, and celebrating Tracy’s beautifully finished felt portrait.
We’ve got a fantastic line-up of seasonal art projects coming up for Halloween, Guy Fawkes, and Christmas and yes, expect plenty more googly eyes along the way!
But it’s not all about art … we also enjoy gentle dance and exercise, a fun music session, and plenty of laughter. Each member receives their own folder and scrapbook to store their artwork, and of course, there’s an endless supply of tea, coffee, cold drinks, and biscuits to keep everyone happy.
We’re now taking names for our brand new Friday afternoon group. If you or someone you know would love to get creative, get moving, and make new friends in a warm and welcoming space, please get in touch for more details.
Friday sessions run from 1.15 to 4pm, and spaces are limited so don’t miss out!

Update…. Hi everyone,
I’ll be sending individual messages later today, but I wanted to share a quick update. I’ve had an overwhelming amount of interest , about 10 times more than usual when I post an ad! I’m truly grateful, but it’s also put me in a difficult position.
At Exmouth Pottery, our ethos is to offer work to everyone where possible. However, this level of interest simply isn’t sustainable , both in terms of outgoing costs and the capacity of our makers to keep up with production.
To stay true to our mission, I’ve decided the fairest approach is to offer positions to those who aren’t currently working. The pottery was set up specifically to support people who, for any reason, struggle to hold down regular employment. If that sounds like you, fantastic … you’ll be first in line.
For those of you who don’t fall into that category, I’d still love to keep your details on file for future opportunities. I hope you understand this hasn’t been an easy decision, and I truly appreciate your interest.
Warmly, Anna

Funday Friday! We’ve wrapped up another fantastic week and there’s so much to share.
A huge thank you to Nicky for my brilliant Halloween picture, and how amazing is Nicky’s felt portrait? It’s full of personality, fun, and completely captures Nicky’s spirit. Stephen, Michael, John, Jane and Emily have also finished their wonderful portraits, and we hope you’ve enjoyed seeing them come to life.
This week we’ve been busy adding extra layers to our pumpkins, and with so many Halloween projects on the go, we might just have to keep creating right through to mid-November.
We’re also opening our waiting list for a new Friday afternoon group. If you’d like more information or to book a free taster session, please contact Sam.
Lastly, if you have any spare wool …especially red, green, white, or sparkly, we’d be so grateful for donations to support our amazing group

Wonderful Wednesday lived up to its name with wide smiles and plenty of wackiness. Ross, Imogen and Lee have just finished their fabulous felt portraits … each one full of personality and charm.
We also experimented with masking tape to create window effects in our scrapbooks, and Ross completed another pompom masterpiece. We never get tired of making those!
We currently have one space available on Wednesday mornings (9.30–1pm), and we’re now taking names for our brand new Friday afternoon sessions (1.15–4pm).
Sessions are £30, which includes your scrapbook and folder to store your artwork, plus unlimited tea, coffee, squash and biscuits.
If you’d like to join us for a free taster session, please contact Sam via WhatsApp or Messenger through our page.

Can you believe it’s October already? That can only mean one thing… Halloween projects are taking over! Expect plenty of googly eyes popping up everywhere… we’ve still got a gazillion of them to use.
Over on our page you can catch videos of our music sessions.

Everyone has been learning some sign language and signing along to the songs. I’m so proud of our groups, and it was such a joy to see Jane show me how she has been practicing at home, she’s already mastered “nice to meet you.”

We do have one big request: WE NEED WOOL! We’re going pom-pom crazy, so if you have any spare balls of wool, they will be gratefully received. Please message Sam.

Finally, we’re very close to launching our new Friday afternoon group. If you’d like to be part of it, please get in touch with Sam as soon as possible.

September has flown by, and as we tiptoe into Autumn our creativity is in full swing. We’ve already begun making our prize pumpkin patch… after three layers of tissue paper they will be ready to be transformed into Halloween Jack O’Lanterns.
Anita has proudly completed the very first felt portrait, with the rest not far behind (watch this space for a gallery of amazing faces!).
Robert mastered his very first Pom Pom without too many tangles, and we’ve been dancing, singing, and signing along with Sam every step of the way.
With Christmas on the horizon, we’re on the lookout for sparkly wool in festive reds, greens, and whites to bring our Pom Poms and Pringle tubes (other tubes are welcome too) please contact us if you have anything for donation.
We’re also opening up a brand-new Friday afternoon session, and places are already filling quickly. If you’d like to join us, get in touch with Sam as soon as possible.
